Letters To A Feminist Future (2025)
Spoken Word Poetry Event / Feminist Programming

Letters To A Feminist Future was a spoken word poetry event centred on feminist themes, created as a platform for bold, personal, and political writing. The event brought together poets and audiences to engage with questions of gender, power, care, resistance, and hope, using live poetry as a tool for expression, solidarity, and collective reflection.

The event sold out, reflecting strong audience appetite for feminist-led cultural spaces in Manchester. The programme featured a diverse line-up of poets, including artists sharing their work publicly for the first time. By prioritising a supportive and attentive audience environment, the event encouraged vulnerability and risk-taking, allowing emerging voices to be heard alongside more experienced performers.

As producer, I oversaw concept development, artist outreach and curation, programming, scheduling, marketing and promotion, venue liaison, audience management, and live event delivery. The event demonstrates my ability to produce high-demand literary events with clear thematic focus, while nurturing new talent and creating inclusive, values-driven performance spaces.
