HellCat: Networking Events (2024 - Present)
HellCat Networking (2024–Present)
Creative Networking Events / In-Person Community Building / Manchester
HellCat networking events are self-initiated in-person networking events designed to create accessible, welcoming spaces for early-career women, trans and non-binary creatives working across film, theatre, live performance, and the wider creative industries. Founded in response to a lack of inclusive, informal networking opportunities, the events prioritise genuine connection, collaboration, and peer support.
Based in Manchester, HellCat Creative Collective brings together producers, directors, writers, performers, designers, and freelancers at all stages of their careers. Each event is carefully structured to encourage conversation and relationship-building, combining relaxed social elements with purposeful facilitation to help attendees meet collaborators, share ideas, and build long-term creative networks. The atmosphere is intentionally friendly, low-pressure, and community-focused, making the events particularly supportive for those new to the industry or navigating freelance creative work.
As event producer and co-founder of HellCat Creative Collective, my role spans concept development, event design, venue liaison, scheduling, budgeting, marketing and promotion, audience outreach, and on-the-day delivery. These networking events reflect my commitment to producing work that centres access, care, and sustainability, and demonstrates my ability to build and grow creative communities through thoughtfully produced live events.
