REPRESENT: the digtal Performance Fundraiser (2020)

Self-Initiated Digital Festival (2020) Online Performance / International Collaboration / Charity Fundraiser

Produced solo during the 2020 lockdown, this self-initiated digital festival began as a small UK-wide initiative and organically grew into an international platform. Artists from the UK, China, the U.S., and beyond came together to share digital performance work in response to a global call for connection, creativity, and solidarity.

The festival was hosted on YouTube with free access, allowing audiences to engage with diverse, original performance work from the comfort of their homes. The programme featured 20 artists and reached over 150 viewers worldwide. It also served as a fundraiser for SARI (Stand Against Racism & Inequality), a UK-based charity offering vital support to victims of hate crime. The event raised £250 in donations.

As sole producer, I conceived, curated, and delivered the festival independently. This included artist outreach and selection, programming, tech coordination, scheduling, digital platform management, branding, promotional strategy, and audience engagement. The festival demonstrated my ability to initiate and deliver a large-scale digital project under challenging conditions with international reach and social impact.
