HellCat Howls: Open Mic Night (2025)
Curated Performance Event
Live Performance / Emerging Voices / Women, Trans & Non-Binary Artists
HellCat Howls was an open mic night celebrating the raw, powerful work of women, trans, and non-binary poets and musicians. The event created a platform for emerging voices to share original work in a supportive, inclusive space. The night championed creative freedom and community connection, inviting audiences to witness a dynamic range of performances from poetry and spoken word to acoustic sets and experimental sounds.
As producer, I programmed and organised the event under the HellCat banner, ensuring a welcoming environment that prioritised inclusivity. I worked closely with the host, managed the call-out and artist sign-ups, coordinated technical needs, and oversaw promotional outreach. The night reinforced HellCat’s mission to uplift marginalised voices and nurture grassroots creative networks.
