Letters To A Feminist Future (2025)

Curated Performance Event
Live Performance / Community Platform / Feminist Voices

Letters to a Feminist Future was a spoken word poetry night showcasing the powerful work of women, trans, and non-binary poets from across Manchester. Curated around the theme “a letter to a feminist future,” the event offered an intimate and urgent exploration of hope, resistance, identity, and change. Held in honour of International Women’s Day, the night celebrated diverse feminist perspectives and invited audiences to imagine new futures through poetry.

As producer, I curated the line-up, coordinated with participating poets, secured the venue, and oversaw the promotion and production of the event. I ensured inclusive programming and safe, affirming conditions for all performers, centring underrepresented voices. The event brought together a vibrant local audience and created space for reflection, connection, and artistic expression rooted in feminist solidarity.
